We are excited to welcome you to the recently chartered Foothill Colony. We are the newest addition to the The Society of Mayflower Descendants in the State of California. We were chartered in October 2019 at the BOA Meeting in Irvine, CA
The Foothill Colony generally covers both sides of the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains and the San Gabriel Valley, from Rancho Cucamonga to San Fernando, Santa Clarita and the Antelope Valley. The diversity of the Foothill Colony is incredible, the cityscapes of Greater Los Angeles, the moonscapes of the Mojave Desert and the over 10,000 foot Mount San Antonio, aka Mt Baldy. If you live within the general area on the map, this would be your preferred Primary Colony, so that you can actively participate better in Mayflower Society events within your local area. Annual Dues for the California Society are $75.00 per year. However, for a small fee of just $4.00 per Colony, you can become a dual member of one or more other Colonies within the State. That fee will be paid when your Annual Dues are paid. Prospective New Member of the Foothill Colony: First, please fill out a Preliminary Application to join the Mayflower Society. Once notified by the State Historian, please contact the Colony Membership Chair for help in completing your application: |
