A 400 Year CELEBRATION

The Society of Mayflower Descendants will be kicking off the 400th Anniversary of the 1620 voyage of the Mayflower in grand style in Pasadena, California!

Approval has been granted to the General Society as a float participant in Tournament of Roses 131st Rose Parade® presented by Honda to be held Wednesday, January 1, 2020.

We are looking for enthusiastic Mayflower Descendants to contribute to this remarkable journey, just like the passengers on the Mayflower did in 1620.

Tell your friends, family and colony members about this tremendous opportunity to tell the true story about the Pilgrims.

Begin to make plans to come to Pasadena, California for the 131st Rose Parade to cheer on your fellow Mayflower Descendants. DECORATE THE FLOAT - From November 16th - December 30th. Sign up here for shifts to help get the float ready for the parade

Volunteer your time to decorate the Mayflower float during November and December 2019. “Petal Pushers” are needed to ensure our float is finished on time for the trip down the boulevard on New Year’s Day! An average float can take about 7,000 hours, so we need a lot of help! Click this link to sign up for shifts for Float Decorating at the Fiesta Floats warehouse in Azusa. HOST AT THE FLOAT VIEWING - Post-parade from January 1st - 2nd. Sign up here to help at the Mayflower Society booth next to our "Voyage of Hope - 1620" Float during the two days of viewing by thousands who want an up-close look at all of the floats.
